In a short space of time, the Foynes Flying Boat Museum has established itself as an important Irish Heritage site, receiving many awards over the years. It preserves for all time the aviation history of the Shannnon Region and the part played by Ireland in the development of passenger travel. The only Aviation Museum in Ireland and the only dedicated flying boat Museum in the world, it is a unique visitor attraction.

The continuing exciting developments for the museum will assure that it is a unique and key visitor attraction and venue in Ireland's Mid-West for years to come. You can be involved with this development by making a contribution to the developmet fund. The Museum is a registered Irish charity (Charity number CHY10251). PAYE workers, companies and corporations can make donations to the museum's development that are tax-deductible.

We would also be very grateful for donations of any type of memorabilia, photographs or other related material in relation to Pan Am or American Export Airlines dealing with the flying boat period (1937-1950).
